Antique Silver Enamel Bird Box
The rectangular box topped by a painted enamel landscape scene of a young man and three ladies catching birds, the sides applied with blue, gold, white and black enamel, outlined and edged by gilt-metal with engraved decoration, the front and back centering watermill scenes, accented by a white enamel bird lever which opens an oval cover to reveal an automated chirping bird with colored plumage.
