Art Deco Egyptian Jabot Convertible Brooch in 18k Yellow Gold.
A stunning Art Deco Egyptian style jabot pin that can convert into a pendant, dating from the 1920s. The top crown of the jabot is comprised of step-cut white diamonds and calibré-cut emeralds with sapphires. Extending into a barbell pin are additional gems of the same variety with four exceptional rose-cut diamonds; cleverly set to conjure a floating appearance. The jabot can be threaded into the included pendant, whose frame mirrors that of the pin. The pendant includes a hinged bail to attach easily on any chain and is finished with graduated diamonds, which further reflect silhouettes of the entire piece.
Pendant length measures approx. 2.85″ in length, 1.22″ in width, 0.25″ in height. Baile opens on hinge with inner circumference measuring approx. 4.75mm.
Jabot measures approx. 2.20″ in length, top crown 0.67″ in width extending out to 1.22″, 0.25″ in height.
Includes “750” hallmark; circa 1920s.
