MARINA B Ken Detachable Hoop Earrings in Blackened 18k Yellow Gold.

An iconic and recognizable pair of Ken pattern on-the-ear clips by Marina B. The doorknocker-style pair can be adorned in two ways; the first as pictured with two pieces moving with the body to allow for movement and scintillation of gold. The second as stylized bombé post earrings, fixed on the ears. The mechanism to achieve the separation is quite fascinating – with a small gold lever behind the ear clip which, when pulled, can swivel sideways and accommodate a detachment of the bottom piece. The ear clips featured blackened gold on both sides, which allow the contrasting yellow gold to emerge and shine bright.

Top ear clip measures approx. 1.25″ in length, 1.0″ in width, 0.50″ in height off the ear. Full length is approx. 2.20″. Gross weight approx. 50 dwts. Ear clips are currently for non-pierced ears, however, posts can be added for pierced ears.
