VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Diamond Emerald Deco Bracelet in Platinum.
A timeless Van Cleef & Arpels Diamond Emerald Deco Bracelet with saturated emeralds doused in a geometric sea of white diamonds. The rectangular and square gems are natural green beryls of Colombian origin. In addition, the five emeralds weigh between 1.22 to 1.86 carats each; 7.70 carats total. The weight of white diamonds is approx. 20.00 carats total. The Van Cleef & Arpels design and their careful configuration of gemstones made a big splash in the 1930s, with this bracelet was at the forefront of Art Deco designs of the time.
The Art Deco name derived from the 1925 Exposition des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris. Above all, it is fitting for a leading haute jewelry Maison in France to be a pioneer in mirroring the style of the times. Van Cleef & Arpels created some of the most iconic Art Deco high jewelry that continues to be coveted by auction houses and collectors alike. Subsequently, the 1930’s evolved Art Deco look further – when geometric designs were starting to shift from sharp peaks to softer graphic forms. This Van Cleef & Arpels Emerald Diamond Bracelet Platinum further reflects that development in style.
Measures approx. 7.25″ in length, approx. 7.6″ inner circumference, 0.90″ in width, approx. 0.11 to 0.20″ range in height off the wrist.
