This flowing Van Cleef & Arpels bow brooch is exemplary to designs of the second half of the 20th Century for the Maison. The bow motif has been a classic since the early days of Van Cleef & Arpels, along with themes inspired by nature and its enchantments. By the 1980’s, however, the jewelry house combined and reinvented these concepts by sourcing wood from arboraceous nature in itself.
