VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Trefle Diamond Ruby Ring in 18k Yellow Gold.
The recognizable Tréfle ring by Van Cleef & Arpels, highlighting a charming floret with a round ruby cabochon pistil. Each petal features 4 round brilliant diamonds perched atop an openwork pierced basket.
Diamond weight approx 0.50 carats total. Ruby cabochon approx. 4mm in diameter. Floret measures approx. 0.45″ by 0.45″ with a 0.30″ in height off the finger. Band is knife-edge shaped measuring 0.18″ in width tapering to 0.13″, height ranging from 0.12 to 0.06 towards back of shank. Currently a size US 5.25; cannot be resized without disrupting hallmarks.
Includes “750” hallmark and French assay marks; Signed “VCA”; 1980s.
